Blake Winslow leaned against the bathroom doorframe and smiled at the sight of his new fiancée admiring the engagement ring on the third finger of her left hand.

Fresh out of the shower, hair wet, and water droplets still dotting her skin, Dani stood naked before the counter with her left hand at eye level. She wiggled her fingers, making the vanity lights dance over the round, two-carat-diamond’s surface. A huge smile curved her pretty lips.

“I did good, huh?” he asked.

She looked at him, the smile not only on her lips, but shining in her eyes. “You did so good.”

“If I did so good, I should be rewarded.”

Her left eyebrow arched, which he called her you’re-so-full-of-shit move. “I recall rewarding you a lot last night after you proposed.”

“That was last night. At least…” He glanced at his watch. “Eleven hours ago.”

She turned to face him, one hand on her hip. He assumed she meant the stance to be intimidating, but she couldn’t do intimidating while naked. “Don’t you have something planned with your brother today?”

Blake’s gaze swept down her body, appreciating the beauty standing before him. “I don’t have to leave for an hour. Plenty of time for a reward.”
