Forgiveness and acceptance are the first steps to love.
Vella DeWinter has lost her desire for sex. Even working at the sex club, Anything Goes, doesn’t ramp up her lust. One look at Jonas Norland changes everything.
Jonas walks into DeWinter Decor to buy a birthday present for his mother. He never imagined a single look at Vella would make him fall instantly in lust.
An evening and night spent with Vella proves to Jonas that she’s exactly the type of woman he could love. But then he finds out about her job at Anything Goes…a job he isn’t sure he can tolerate.
It will take forgiveness and acceptance for Vella and Jonas to find their happily ever after.
(Although part of the Anything Goes series, it is not necessary to read the entire series to enjoy this book.)

Vella gestured to the chair beside the desk. “Have a seat and I’ll start the paperwork.”
She allowed Jonas to get comfortable before she minimized the window Deondra had open on the computer and brought up the order form. “We ask for half up front and the other half before the furniture is shipped.”
“Can I pay all now, along with the other Zarina houses?”
“Sure, but most customers like making two payments for their furniture.”
Jonas shrugged. “I’d rather pay it now, then I know it’s done and I don’t have to worry about it.”
Ten minutes later, Vella handed Jonas his copy of the order form and receipt. “I’m sure your mother will love her gift.”
“Thank you for your help with everything, Vella. You’ve been very kind.”
She smiled, even though she didn’t feel like doing it. She hated to say goodbye to Jonas. “You’re welcome.’
Jonas watched his hands as he folded the paper into thirds. “Actually, the words ‘thank you’ don’t seem strong enough. I’d like to thank you in another way for your help.” He raised his gaze to her face. “Will you have dinner with me tonight?”
“Yes,” she said without hesitation.
Jonas smiled. “Great. Shall I pick you up here, or somewhere else?”
“Here is fine. I get off at six.”
“Then I’ll be here by six. I don’t know the area, so you pick the restaurant. Anywhere you want to go is okay with me.”
She stood when he did. They stopped at the checkout area long enough for Vella to collect Jonas’ houses before she walked him to the exit. She watched his ass as he headed toward a black SUV. The khakis fit him perfectly, but she imagined he’d look even better in a pair of tight, faded jeans.
Or in nothing at all.
If everything went the way she wanted tonight, she’d find out exactly how he looked in nothing at all. |
